6. Institutional arrangement

6.1. There will be a high-level National Drug Control Steering and Coordinating Committee to provide guidance, maintain coordination and harmony, and monitor and evaluate the applicable drug control work. 6.3 Widespread awareness in the field of drug prevention and controlAnd the National Drug Demand Reduction Campaign will be organized as a widely participatory and autonomous organization to conduct awareness programs, provide quality delivery of therapeutic and humanitarian services, develop necessary human resources.

6.4. By strengthening and empowering the current form and capacity of the current drug control law enforcement unit, a drug control bureau will be established as a specialized mechanism under the Ministry of Home Affairs, Government of Nepal. In addition, arrangements will be made to conduct the specialized service of the Nepal Police personnel involved in the special task force in this bureau.
